Dr. Pennypacker felt that if a blind individual could read with Braille by using the pads of their fingertips, why couldn’t a woman learn to read her breasts in the same manner. He then created the 5 Ps -- Palpation, Pressure, Pattern, Perimeter and Positions. All these are covered in the workshop. We can also train Canadians to become Breast Health Workshop facilitators:I If you are interested in learning more about this program please contact our Executive Director at blancaster@breastcancersupport.org
