About the MammaCare Method

The MammaCare method of breast self examination was created by Dr. Henry Pennypacker, University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida, U.S.A. Dr. Pennypacker felt that if a blind individual could read with Braille by using the pads of their fingertips, why couldn’t a woman learn to read her breasts in the same manner.
He then created the 5 Ps -- Palpation, Pressure, Pattern, Perimeter and Positions. All these are covered in the workshop.

We can also train Canadians to become Breast Health Workshop facilitators.
