Art Therapy
You don’t need to be an "artist" or to have any art experience to benefit from Art Therapy. It is a discovery process in a relaxed and safe, small, closed-group environment. You participate to the level you feel comfortable doing so.
It can be effectively used for self-expression and relaxation as well as for exploration of a creative healing process. Art Therapy can be a helpful way to gain understanding and perspective on an issue. It promotes personal growth through a critical time in your life. In an Art Therapy session, emphasis is put on the participant and the process, not on the art product. No judgments are made on any artwork. All the art materials are supplied. Sessions occur once per week for 4 weeks and are 2 hours in length. Please call the centre at 905 634 2333 to put your name on the list for the next session.
